When will the West stop helping Russia?
A shorter version of a previous post with almost the same title.
This is the English version of my letter to Kristianstadsbladet and Norra Skåne published on their web sites 1 April. It is a shorter version of my blog post which was published almost a month ago.
Trump's pro-Russian actions and statements are welcomed by the Kremlin, whose economy is nearing collapse.
Trump is not the first to help Russia. After the Bolshevik coup, Lenin managed to cause mass starvation. The US Congress decided on $20 million in aid. More than 300 Americans participated in the program, which fed 10.5 million people a day.
The Soviet industry was built and electrified with the help of companies from the West. Ford, General Electric, Siemens and others built the Soviet industries. Over 1,200 American architects, engineers, designers, and foremen created the Soviet Industrial Revolution. In three years, they built about 500 factories and trained thousands of Soviet engineers and technicians.
USA built the Soviet industries.

By signing the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact with Hitler, Stalin received Hitler’s permission to occupy western Poland and freely attack the Baltics and Finland. In return for his help, Stalin sent food, fuel and other raw materials that Hitler's air force used in the Battle of Britain.
When Hitler attacked Stalin in 1941, the Soviet Union was saved from defeat by the United States, which sent 400,000 jeeps and trucks, 14,000 aircraft, tons of clothing, food and boots and fuel. Britain also helped, despite Stalin having previously helped Nazi Germany in the Battle of Britain. The Soviets did not defeat the Nazis. American industries did, which Stalin acknowledged.
The American industries defeated the nazis in World War II.
Spoiler: Today, 8 May, is European Victory Day. On this day 1945, Nazi Germany capitulated to the Allies. Soon after the war, the Soviet Union began to falsify the history and its cooperation with the Nazis as documented in the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact
Drawing on the experience of 45 years of occupation, Eastern European countries chose to become members of NATO after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Georgia and Ukraine were stopped by France and Germany, after which Russia attacked Georgia in 2008 and Ukraine in 2014. Obama did nothing when the Kremlin occupied Crimea. Our half-hearted sanctions did not prevent the illegitimate president of the fascist dictatorship and internationally wanted war criminal from starting a full-scale war in 2022.
Now Trump is coming to the Kremlin's aid. The Trump regime's negotiators are favoring the Kremlin in its war against Ukraine. Trump wants to improve relations and do business with the fascist regime in the Kremlin whose dictator seems to express understanding that Trump wants Greenland. Trump and his clown ministers despise Europe and seem to want to withdraw the US military from there. That would be welcomed by the Kremlin, which wants to restore the Russian empire.
