Some graphs in case Trump tries to change the facts and rewrite history.
No one hates the reality as much as Trump.
Spoiler: Trump’s declaration of economic emergency is nonsense. Inflation and unemployment in the US are lower than in Europe and GDP per capita growth is stronger. The US economy is strong. Trump is wrong. He knows less about economics than anyone else. That wouldn’t be a problem if he did not also dismiss everyone and everything contradicting him as fake news. He is not interested in facts unless they show what he wants them to show.
His dislike of the reality may make him try to rewrite the facts and get rid of the statistical agencies in the same way as he, with the help of Elon Muskolini, is getting rid of agencies, FBI agents and other federal employees he doesn’t like.
The nonsense about DEI is nothing but an attack on civil liberties. His focus on sexual minorites implies a non-healthy interest in what goes on in other peoples’ bedrooms. Maybe that is a substitute for non-action in his own bedroom. I really don’t want to know.
Trump attacks sexual minorities in different ways. In the executive order linked to above, he targets US agencies whose work to some extent is meant to make life easier for those individuals who need assistance. Here’s how he censored the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention, (CDC), which has monitored the situation for young adult LGBTQ. Trump’s executive order diarrhea impacted alson on the CDC. On top of each of the agency’s web sites one can read the following ominous message:
CDC’s website is being modified to comply with President Trump’s Executive Orders.
And that apparently means censoring the agency’s work on the situation for young adults with LGBTQ identities because when you click on some of the links on this page, to find out how CDC’s work supports young LGBTQ adults, you get the message below.

I have no doubt that all of those links will be broken soon since you probably won’t find anything if you enter LGBTQ in the search field.
Trump news. Economic emergency levels of inflation and unemployment.
Trump, who knows less about economics than anyone else, repatedly claimed that the US economy was a disaster and that inflation was skyrocketing. Well, it wasn’t and it isn’t. Inflation is down to below 4% now which is about 3.5 percentage points lower than for the Euroa area.

One of the reasons for inflation to rise during Covid was Biden’s economic policy to bring unemployment down. He managed to that. Unemployment is now also around 4% which is nearly three percentage points lower than unemployment in the Euro Area.

That policy also meant that living standards in USA weren’t eroded by the Covid crisis.

If you need more evidence showing that Trump does not know, or does not care, what he is talking about, compare US GDP per capita by othe rcountries’. It is significantly higher in USA than in most countries. And what is interesting, the gap between USA and other counrties is increasing the last ten years or so due to higher US GDP growth rates.

If Trump follows up on his ramblings about lowering taxes and spending money on infrastructure, the current account deficit will most likely be even larger than today. Here is the latest data on the current account balance.

Trump news. Crime rates.
Trump has repeatedly blamed immigrants for eating dogs or committing other types of crimes. Guess what! Crime rates are declining in USA.
The last two graphs above are from the wonderful site USAFACTS. Since it is devoted to facts, Trump does not like. In case he knows about it.
But be sure to download data from USAFACTS, FRED, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and U.S. Census Bureau before he finds out about them.
