Nukes to the people
Since Trump can't be trusted we need our own nukes.
This is a longer English version of my letter which was published in Kristianstadsbladet and Norra Skåne 28 February.
By signing the Budapest Memorandum in 1994, Ukraine agreed to eliminate its nuclear weapons in exchange for its territory being guaranteed by the US, muscovy and the UK.
Dictatorships have more nukes than democracies. Without Trump, Europe only has 515 nukes.

The kremlin ignored this and invaded Ukraine in 2014 while the UK and US stood and watched. The muscovite fascists occupied Crimea and its neo-Nazi stormtroopers Rusich and the Russian Imperialist Movement occupied parts of Donbas and chased away the Jewish communities in Luhansk and Donetsk. As the West rewarded the kremlin by doing nothing, the regime launched a full-scale war in 2022, in which Ukrainian women were gang-raped and Ukrainian children were abducted to be brainwashed.
Unlike Ukraine, the Undemocratic People’s Monarchy of North Korea acquired nuclear weapons for future use when Kim I failed to conquer South Korea during the Korean War. Kim II and Kim III have therefore continued to build up the country’s nuclear arsenal. Now Kim III has high expectations that Trump will turn a blind eye if he attacks South Korea.
Trump doesn't care about democracies. He likes dictators with whom he can trade territories and natural resources. The nuclear umbrella that previously protected us from the kremlin no longer exists and the fascist regime can advance its positions.
russian-speaking minorities in primarily Estonia and Latvia are being exploited by the kremlin in propaganda and the fascist dictatorship has an incentive to use the same lies as in the occupation of Ukraine by claiming that russian speakers are being persecuted. In addition, Lithuania lies in the way of muscovy-occupied Königsberg where the fascist dictatorship has nuclear weapons.
When the kremlin attacks these countries and Poland, which the kremlin considers to belong to the muscovy empire, Trump will not care. The only thing that deters the fascists in the kremlin is nuclear weapons. Since we will also be attacked in the event of an attack on any of these countries, we also need nuclear weapons. The sooner the better. Therefore, we should form a nuclear alliance with other European countries.
Sweden run its own nuclear weapons programme between 1945 and 1972. Most of the bomb was built by 1965. Merely another 6 months would have been needed to arm it, but unfortunately weren’t. Another two bombs would have been built shortly thereafter but political pressure put an end to the programme which was formally closed in 1972.
The moscow-run “peace movement” was of course actively lobbying for the closure of the programme.
