It is the little fascist dictator in the kremlin who is illegitimate.
Unlike him, the president in the democratic Ukraine is restricted by the Constitution.
This is a slightly longer English version of my letter to newspapers which was published by Västerbottenskuriren 21 May, and in Sydöstran 23 May.
The Kremlin is clearly demonstrating that they do not want peace. The fascists are not only claiming their rights to continue to mass murder, torture and rape Ukrainians in occupied territories. They are also demanding the democratic Ukraine to hand over un-occupied territories so that they can commit bestial abuses in these areas as well.
In addition to these and other demands that show the extent of the fascists' contempt for international law, demands have been made that any agreements, which the Kremlin nevertheless intends to break, must not be signed by President Zelensky. Bizarrely, the illegitimate president and internationally wanted child abductor Putin claims that Zelensky cannot represent Ukraine. Unlike the fascist dictatorship of Russia, however, in Ukraine they believe that the constitution must be followed. Ukraine’s constitution prohibits elections under Martial law. Martial law was declared by President Zelenskyj when muscovy launched its full-scale war against Ukraine in February 2022.
In mussia, the fascist dictator has done as he pleases. He previously circumvented the constitution by letting the puppet Medvedev serve as president between 2008 and 2012, as the then constitution prohibited the same president from serving more than two consecutive terms. When putin’s term began to run out again in 2020, he called a “referendum” on a new constitution so that he could serve until his death.
The change was deemed by constitutional experts to be a constitutional coup d’état as it was in violation of the then prevailing constitution. The changes that were made would, under the that constitution, require the convening of a constituent assembly. The dictator found it easier to ask the Constitutional Court about the legality. Since its members did not want to be thrown out of windows from high-rise buildings, the dictator got what he wanted.
One vote against.
