A free and prosperous Moldova or a muscovy backyard in decay?
Today's election is a choice between freedom vs dictatorship
Spoiler: Moldovians heading to the elections today choose between a path leading to freedom and prosperity together with the democracies in the EU and downhill slide towards an abyss of dictatorship and oppression as a backyard to fascist ruzzia. The election today is not only about choosing a president or a dictator, it is also a referendum about a future EU membership. If the voters choose, the path to EU will be part of the constitution. The little fascist in chief hates the EU, he wants the Moldovians to be as poor and miserable as their compatriots in occupied Transdniestria.
The kremlin is of course trying to sway the election, and the fascist in chief, hiding in his bunker in the kremlin, has ordered his orcs to influence the election in his favour. His army of trolls and disinformation agents have been unleashed again. But Moldovians are used to the kremlin’s lies.
Kremlin tell Moldovians lies about their government.

The dip in the curve above show muscovy’s efforts to influence the local elections in 2023. The efforts included cyber attacks, and voter buying as reported by the OSCE’s monitors in their final report. The interferences also take other shapes. Cyberattacks, riots, and bribes.
The country’s Information and Security Service reported that Moscow invested approximately $55 million to influence the vote, deploying illegal financing and disinformation tactics to sway the outcome, helping pro-Russian candidates win, and deepening political divisions in key cities such as Bălți and Orhei.
The campaign to buy votes is led to the fascist pro-ruzzian candidate Ilan Shor who has been hiding from Moldova’s judiciary’s authorities in muscovy
In early October, Moldovan law enforcement said it had uncovered a massive vote-buying scheme orchestrated by Ilan Shor, an exiled pro-Russia oligarch who currently resides in Russia, which paid 15 million euros ($16.2 million) to 130,000 individuals to undermine the two ballots.
Shor, who was convicted in absentia last year to 15 years in jail on fraud and money laundering in the case of $1 billion that went missing from Moldovan banks in 2014, denied allegations, saying "the payments are legal" and cited a right to freedom of expression. Shor's populist Russia-friendly Shor Party was declared unconstitutional last year and banned.
The little fascist wants Moldova to be like Transdniestra which is known for corruption, organised crime and smuggling and is a centre for illegal arms sales and money laundering.
putin hates the EU where people are freer, healthier, and richer.
Hopefully, the kremlin fails and the Moldovans are allowed to choose a bright future. The little fascist hates the EU because he is people in the EU are enjoy more freer, longer, and more prosperous lives than people in muscovy.
Why the EU really matters
Spoilers. The EU is a success with the perhaps most obvious example being the Single Market which has led to increasing living standards in the EU. But the most important reason for people from the Baltics and Eastern European Countries to join the EU were the EU values of respect for freedom, democracy and human rights. But the EU is not perfect. Once …
